Starting Clown with Christopher Bayes

When I attended Columbia University, I began taking clown with Eugene Ma. I immediately fell in love with the class. The three hours a week I got to spend exploring my physicality, getting silly, and exploring my vulnerability ended up being some of my favorite training in grad school. But due to time constraints, my class never completed our clown training.

Now, I am taking all three course of clown—clown, advanced clown, and super advanced clown—with Christopher Bayes at The Pandemonium Studio. Every Sunday, I get to spend a little time inviting play and a little chaos into my life. I’ve been feeling a little discouraged later, so I’m hoping that taking this class reignites my passion and drive to continue acting and auditioning.
